Dear Beautiful Soul,
Lately, I've been waking up with this deep sense of stillness and a tinge of restlessness. Maybe you know the feeling: like something inside is gently nudging you, saying, "It's time." Not loudly. Not in a panic. Just a quiet, persistent awareness that a new chapter wants to begin.
There are moments when our dreams start knocking a little louder, even when we've buried them under years of busy schedules, responsibilities, or self-doubt. And recently, I've felt that knocks are becoming impossible to ignore.
This week, I've been doing a lot of reflecting. Long walks. Journaling. Sitting in the silence that normally scares me, but now feels oddly comforting. In these sacred pockets of quiet, a recurring question keeps coming up: What would my life look like if I allowed myself to dream without limits?
It brought me back to the teachings of some of the greatest minds in abundance, thinking Napoleon Hill, Bob Proctor, Mary Morrissey, and of course, the timeless energy behind The Secret.
Each of them, in their own way, reminds us that we are the architects of our lives. That thought is not just powerful, it's sacred. The dreams in our heart aren't random or frivolous. They're divine whispers pointing us to the truth of who we are meant to be.
Napoleon Hill once said, "Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve." Such a bold statement but have you ever really paused to believe that for yourself?
I have, but only in glimpses. Sometimes I let the doubt in quicker than the dream. I tell myself it's too late or too unrealistic. But the truth is: all of us start at the same point in the power of thought. Our imagination is the entryway into creation. It is where our deepest truths and potential begin to take form. Even in the face of hardship, we are capable of dreaming new dreams and reimagining our lives. By holding our vision firm in our minds, we engage in one of the most powerful acts of transformation. When we honor our thoughts and understand their power, we begin a journey that allows miracles to take shape in the everyday.
Our imagination is not just child’s play. It’s the beginning of creation. When we dare to visualize our highest life, our heart takes note. It begins to rewire our inner narrative. Suddenly, life becomes less about reacting and more about consciously designing.
This week, I asked myself: What do I really want? Not the socially acceptable goals. Not the easy-to-explain dreams. But the big ones. The ones that scare me. The ones that if I said them out loud, people might raise an eyebrow or two.
That’s where the magic begins.
Bob Proctor taught us to create a vision so clear it makes our heart race. Not just a goal but a purposeful image of the life we desire. He would say, “Don’t let the outside world dictate what’s possible. Go inside.” And that process of going inward is one of the most tender acts of self-trust. It’s acknowledging that our desires are sacred messengers clues to our highest calling. As we get clearer on the details of what we feel, where we are, who we’ve become, the vision becomes not only vivid but magnetic. It begins to pull us forward.
And so I’ve been doing that. Visualizing. Dreaming. Letting myself imagine a version of me who is already living that reality. And let me tell you it’s emotional. Because part of me remembers her. Part of me knows her. And maybe you know your future self too. Maybe it’s time to reintroduce yourself to them.
What The Secret emphasized so beautifully is that it’s not just about thinking the thought. It’s about feeling the feeling.
When we feel gratitude as if our dream is already true, we tune into a different frequency. Our cells start vibrating at a new level. Life responds.
So I’ve been practicing this. Each morning, I close my eyes and feel into the joy of my dreams as if they’ve already arrived. I say thank you note for what’s coming, but for what’s already here. And in that space, my energy shifts. And I’ve noticed how even the smallest joys, a warm cup of tea, a kind word, a quiet morning take on deeper meaning. The emotional resonance of gratitude makes our dreams feel closer, more tangible. It bridges the gap between the now and the not-yet, grounding us in a reality that is rich with possibility.
Gratitude is not a byproduct of achieving the dream. It’s the fuel that gets us there.
Mary Morrissey speaks often of forgiveness as the bridge to possibility. And this has hit me deeply lately. Because as I reflect on what I want to create, I’ve also had to confront what I’ve been holding onto.
Old regrets. Disappointments. Hurts. And most of all the judgments I’ve held against myself. These burdens, though invisible to others, have a profound weight. They clutter the space where our dreams want to bloom. Forgiveness is the act of decluttering the soul.
I’ve had to say, "I forgive you" to the younger me who didn’t know better. To the past version of me who stayed too long, doubted too much, or played too small. I had to recognize that those parts of me were simply trying to survive. And now, I choose to bless them and set them free.
Forgiveness, I’m learning, is not a weakness. It’s an act of liberation. It creates the inner spaciousness we need to receive the life we’re dreaming of.
So if your dreams feel far away, maybe ask yourself: What needs to be forgiven?
Dreaming big doesn’t mean we wait for the whole path to be revealed. It means we take one sacred step at a time, trusting that the next will appear.
This week, my step looked like dusting off an old project that I had shelved out of fear. Maybe yours looks like making a call, signing up for the class, writing the first page, or simply whispering, "I believe." These small steps matter more than we realize. Each one is a declaration: I am worthy. I am ready. I am moving.
Nothing grand. Just true.
Because every time we move toward our dreams, no matter how small, the universe responds in kind. The momentum we generate grows stronger with each step. And suddenly, what once seemed impossible begins to feel inevitable.
Here’s something I want you to remember and what I’ve had to remind myself often lately: Your dream is not just for you.
The life you are visualizing, the version of you who is fully alive, aligned, joyful, and free that person is medicine for the world. Your joy creates a ripple effect. Your courage gives others permission. Your healing lights a path for someone still walking through the dark.
We’re not here to play small. We’re here to shine so others remember they can too. We’re here to walk into the fullness of who we are, not out of ego, but out of sacred responsibility. Because when one of us rises, we lift the collective just a little higher.
So yes, let’s visualize. Let’s reflect. Let’s journal, cry, forgive, and say thank you. Let’s do the inner work that feels invisible but changes everything.
Because the dream is waiting. And more importantly it’s already on its way.
There is something sacred about holding space for your dreams, about letting yourself believe in a future that feels expansive, kind, and aligned. Even when you can’t see the evidence yet, know that the energy is already shifting. The universe is conspiring with your belief. Every time you reflect, journal, visualize, or simply whisper a quiet "thank you," you’re strengthening the bridge between your now and your becoming.
Before I sign off, I want to share a little affirmation that’s been guiding me this week. If it speaks to you, maybe write it somewhere you can see it:
"I am open to the dreams of my heart. I am ready to receive with gratitude, walk with courage, and forgive with grace. My life is unfolding in beauty, and I welcome it all."
Thank you for being on this journey with me. It means more than you know. If you’re reflecting too on your dreams, your next steps, or your past I’d love to hear from you. Just hit reply. We’re in this together.
With so much love,
Sharon North Pohl 🌸🌟
P.S. You are more powerful than you’ve been led to believe. And your dreams? They’re not too big. They’re just waiting for you to remember.
